This 3D model is a historically informed reconstruction of the Table of Showbread, also known as the Table of the Presence, one of the sacred furnishings of the biblical Tabernacle.
The table is based on the dimensions described in Exodus 25:23–30. For this reconstruction, I used an Egyptian royal cubit of 52.36 cm, giving the table the following dimensions:
- Length: 104.72 cm.
- Width: 52.36 cm.
- Height: 78.54 cm.
My model is 1:10 scale
The structure is represented as an acacia-wood table covered with pure gold and finished with a raised decorative rim. The tabletop supports twelve loaves of showbread, arranged in two stacks of six to symbolize the twelve tribes of Israel.
The model also includes the sacred golden utensils associated with the table: trays for the bread, dishes or cups for frankincense, pitchers for drink offerings, and bowls used during the ritual service. These objects are mentioned in Exodus 25:29 and Numbers 4:7.
This reconstruction combines biblical proportions, ancient Near Eastern design references, and digital sculpting to create a clear visualization of the table and its ceremonial equipment. It is suitable for historical research, educational projects, animation, digital collections, 3D printing, and artistic presentation.
